Many District 12 clubs have created local scholarships and awards for women and girls. Find this information on the club websites.
Zonta International Level
Information about the International awards can be found on the Zonta International website at zonta.org under Our programs/Education. International programs are:
- Amelia Earhart Fellowship for women pursuing a PhD in aerospace engineering and space sciences
- Women in Business Scholarship for women pursuing undergraduate and master’s degrees in a business program with major field of specialization in accounting, economics, finance, business management, marketing, operations management, human resources management, international business, or entrepreneurship at an accredited university/college/institute.
- Women in Technology Scholarship for women pursuing education, career opportunities and leadership roles in technology
- Young Women in Public Affairs Award for young women demonstrating leadership skills and commitment to public service
Women in Business and Young Women in Public Affairs applications start at the club level and may include a club monetary award. The club level winners go to the District level and a District winner is selected, receives a monetary award and is sent to compete at the International level.
Amelia Earhart and Women in Technology applications are made directly to Zonta International.
