Organized January 2003
Trivia Night
Since its inception in 2003, Trivia Night has grown to include more than 26 teams. Zonta Club of Douglas County hosts Trivia Night to raise funds for local and regional nonprofits and for a lucky student heading off to college. During the past 10 years, the Zonta Club of Douglas County has donated more than $60,000 to local charities, and gave more than $10,000 in scholarships to local high school seniors. Members donated more than 900 hours of time to local nonprofits last year alone.
“I’m grateful to the community and feel it’s my responsibility to give back to the groups that make it their mission to raise funds for those in need,” explains Greene. “I feel fortunate to be able to help these organizations and individuals that spend their time for a good cause. I feel it’s the right thing to do.”
Greene, a Denver TV Newscaster for 37 years, is one of the most recognizable and involved TV personalities in the community. Viewers will find Ed Greene on CBS4 newscasts at 5, 6 and 10 p.m.
Sponsorships are available for the 2014 Trivia Night and teams may begin registering online beginning in early November at www.zontadouglascounty.org.
